Time is passing quickly and we need to arrange for our AGM as this involves commitment and efforts.
Some discussion has taken place about holding this meeting jointly with our colleagues in the British Pakistani Association. This means that we have the academic meeting together and then we separate for the business of each association AGM. It will also save us some money as we will share the cost. They have already agreed on the date of 19-20 Nov 2011in Birmingham.
We have not committed ourselves to this option yet but we need to let them know by end of next week if we are going ahead with this.
On the other hand,we can still arrange our AGM in a different date and venue if you so wish and forget about the above. If you prefer this option, I need to know a rough number of committed members who will be attending ,so we can start the booking process with a hotel of your choice and hope for some pharmaceutical sponsorship though this has become quite strict as you know.
This is your association and it can only survive and succeed with your participation.
